Message from the President of Germania Hall:

As we begin 2012, let me wish everyone a healthy and happy new year. The snow bunnies are heading for Florida and that will leave us with fewer members to work bingo. If you are available, please let me know.

This past year has seen us get on our feet financially and find reliable caretakers and a good cook. Another thing that started in 2011 is occasional dancing on Friday nights. There are a few people who love to dance and it’s delightful to see them moving to the music of Greg Reinwalk or Herbie Lieberhagen. Speaking of dancing, it brings to mind that the Shuhplattlers continue to entertain us with their spirited dances. This past Bavarian night, we even had the Bavarian Hof Brau Shuhplattlers join us. Thank-you!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those people who have done so much to keep the hall running smoothly. Thanks to Cindy and Jimmy for keeping the hall neat and clean, thanks to all the bingo workers for being so reliable, and, finally, thanks to all the hall members who have been there to help whenever help was needed.

Inge

DANKE
We did it!!  A huge thank you to all members who made donations to the Hall. We paid all old bills. Recent donations were received from: Herbie & Marianna Schmidt, Shirley Kuchay, Steven Reul

We have not increased our annual dues of $35.00 in many years to make our membership affordable. Donations are always appreciated and are extremely helpful in keeping us afloat. Whether it is $5 or $100 it is put to good use and very much appreciated.  Thank you again for your generosity.
