Inner Societies

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the time of its founding in 1890, the Troy German Hall Association was comprised of 17 German cultural societies, featuring,  Men's and Ladies' singing societies, gymnast groups, folk dance groups, sick benefit funds, German language groups, and social groups.   Today, while still embracing its cultural heritage, membership has dwindled to seven societies, while strong ethnic roots are featured.

Societies still active in the Hall Association are:

The Troy Maennerchor and Maennerchor Damenverein,

Cannstatter Volksfestverein

The Badischer Kranken-und-Unterstuetzungsverein,
(sick and death benefit society),
Founded 1890 - 1st President, Joseph Anselment

The Frauen Verein Badina (ladies auxiliary),
Founded 1913 - 1st President, Mrs. Frieda Nold

The German-American Rod and Gun Club,

The Ladies Auxiliary of  Troy Germania Hall, and

The Schuhplattler Verein Alpenklang.
